About Miller-Dwan Foundation
The Miller-Dwan Foundation, formed in 1974, is
an independent public charity dedicated to supporting health care delivery,
research and health education, with a focus on supporting projects in the
specialty areas of Miller-Dwan Medical Center (MDMC), Polinsky Medical
Rehabilitation Center, as well as regional non-profits which support prevention
and community based services for the patient population in our region.
Specialty areas include:
- Cancer Treatment
- Burn and Wound Care
- Chemical Dependency
- Mental Health Services
- Physical Rehabilitation
- Surgical Services
The Foundation's mission is carried out
through three distinct activities - grant programs, education and fund development.

Special Events
ARTcetera - a gourmet dinner and auction of art,
luxury trips and fine merchandise - was first held in the fall of 1999 and has
raised over $692,000 for projects that benefit the health of our
