has difficulty staying with a

he or she often becomes frustrated and restless and may find it difficult to relate to family, peers, teachers or co-workers.
Prior to evaluation, the patient and family provide the clinic with information about the symptoms. A computerized test is administered and a trial ADD medication is given. Then the test is re-administered. Results are given to the family doctor or a mental health professional for subsequent treatment and/or counseling.
