When To Call the Crisis Line

Miller-Dwan's Crisis Line is staffed 24 hours a day, providing help and referral for mental health concerns.

Parents, guardians, family members, or friends should call the Crisis Line if a child, adolescent, or adult displays any of the following symptoms:

  • Felling emotionally or physically out of control.

  • Serious conflicts with family or relationships.

  • Thoughts of harming self or others.

  • Serious feelings of depression, panic or fearfulness.

  • Symptoms of mental illness, such as hallucinations.

  • Loss of control over alcohol or drug use.

  • Loss of control over gambling.

  • Problems with medication prescribed for psychological conditions
