Radiation Oncology and CyberKnife
The Radiation Oncology Department provides radiation therapy services with two state-of-the-art linear accelerators and a CyberKnife treatment machine for the treatment of benign and cancerous lesions. The department's radiation oncologists prescribe treatment plans for all patients, based on each person's individual need and the affected area of the body.
Miller-Dwan's Radiation Oncology Staff works in conjunction with medical oncologists, referring physicians and surgeons from throughout the region. In addition, the Radiation Oncology Department works in cooperation with the Duluth Clinic Cancer Center in a collaborative effort to provide seamless care for all patients.
